Damone, of Las Vegas Nevada, describes early voting in Clark County, Nevada as, "...a wonderful experience," in spite of having to wait several hours to vote. Along with many other members of the Clark County Democratic Black Caucus, he participated in a rally and march to the Dr. William U. Pearson Community Center, in North Las Vegas. There they encountered long, but orderly lines, resultant from an inadequate supply of voting machines. He states, "Even though the lines were a little long, it could have taken twice the amount of time. I still would have done it. It was such a great time, and a great election....so inspiring to be a part of the Obama campaign."
